Ferrari is one of the big sellers and admired for sports cars, it gets a refresh before a full-on replacement.

Ferrari 458 Italia has grown five years old now but still it stays as leader in the market share. The 458 is receiving an exquisite refresh pretty soon to keep its rightful place intact and counter the likes of the latest Lamborghini Huracan for example. The question is, will it be a turbocharged? Well, the possibility is quite strong to be honest.

It is still unclear what would power this monster but everyone is hoping to have a boost in power for sure. A Ferrari official was deliberately vague on details but he did hint to turbocharging by saying that “If the drivability is improved… and it still has the aural sensation of what a Ferrari should sound like, I think they’re all for turbocharging.”  The Australians also have claimed that the Facelifted model of Ferrari 458 Italia is internally referred to as the 458M.

It has also been hinted that this new refreshed 458 is most probably going to get a twin-turbocharged 3.9 litre V8 engine capable of cranking out power of nearly 670 horses, where as the ongoing model is using a 4.5 litre naturally aspirated V8 engine which develops 562 hp. The other family member, 458 Speciale, produces 597 horsepower.

The words are out there that this new 458M have got every bit of potential to become “the best Ferrari,” all we need to do is just wait and see how things turn out.
