Safety kits are also reasonable, ISOFIX children seat anchor points are a good addition, and different alarms are very useful for safety concerns. Euro NCAP has given five stars to Renault Clio hatchback due to its response against any bad incident.
Efficient petrol and frugal diesel engines are outstanding in performance
There is a 1.2-Litre petrol engine with 118bhp and 140lb/ft torque. Its performance is reasonable and worthy. It takes 9.6 seconds to get from 0-62m/h along with the top speed of 121m/h. Good fuel average is its asset. It offers 55m/g of fuel average along with 120g/km of Co2 emissions. It is fitted with six-speed EDC automatic transmission with front wheel drive unit as standard. It is the best in the whole engine range and performs superbly well with good and economical fuel average. Though there are frugal diesel engines with ninety m/g of fuel average and good pick and response but this petrol unit is the best.
Exterior and interior are good and reasonable
Its exterior is impressive with a good outlook and sleek appearance. Exterior has sports touch in it. Front view of this hatchback is stunning and of great stance. Front grille and front lights along with front bumper give a great impression. Well, balanced body structure with a low centre of gravity gives it a strong road grip that has its own effect on high speed. The exterior is well inbuilt with a single look appearance. The front hood is flat and wide front windscreen is impressive. Back is of the different style with a unique bumper. Interior is also good but some rivals have more elegant and stylish interior. Standard of material is good, workability is reasonable; dashboard is good inbuilt and packed with great features having good workability. The appearance of things is very good and reasonable. Lots of cubbies offer great practicality. Sitting arrangement is reasonable. Some critics have some issues with rear seats but it’s quite good with good head space and leg space.
