This advanced hi-tech seat has Bluetooth connectivity which enables you to control a wide range of features in the inflatable seat

If you are a parent who get to carry a child in the child seat, knows how hard it is to get it to your car as it is mostly difficult and hulking, it becomes the worst nightmare of your life when you need to carry and fit it while travelling in public transport or even abroad.

Volvo though is exerting a lot of efforts trying to make life as easier as possible by using ultra hi-tech components, so as for the parents all around the world, a child seat concept has been developed which is rearward-facing and inflatable. By using lightweight technology, Lawrence Abele and his team worked really very hard to create a seat which is “safer, more practical, easy to pack and carry than the traditionally available equipments.”

The drop-stitch fabric is used to make this seat which is originally developed by the military as it is a very strong material thus it is mostly used in boating industry. When fully expanded, the seat weighs only five kilograms which is almost half of any conventional child seat. It takes less than forty seconds to inflate this seat, thanks to the specially designed integrated pump system.

Most amazing feature of this advanced hi-tech seat is the use of Bluetooth connectivity which enables you to control a wide range of features and remotely inflate and fold away the seat when it is not in use.

Its lightweight and flexibility in use makes travelling by public transport much safer and easier. “This concept has presented a range of whole new opportunities that we never had before” says Volvo.
